Bomb Threat Targeting Virginia Pizza Place Leads To Evacuation, Suspect Behind Bars: Police

Some patrons at a popular Prince William County pizza place were treated to dinner and a show after a man called in a bomb threat on Thursday night.

Woodbridge resident Elton Charles Williams, 63, was arrested overnight following an incident that was reported at Brixx Wood Fired Pizza in the 14900 block of Potomac Town Place.

According to a spokesperson from the Prince William County Police Department, officers responded to the eatery at around 9:45 p.m. on Sept. 26 to investigate reports of a bomb threat.

It was determined that a man - later identified as Williams - made a threat toward the restaurant over the phone, leading to an evacuation and police investigation.

Officers were able to identify Williams and determined there was no active threat to the restaurant, or surrounding area.

Williams was arrested on Thursday night in Woodbridge and charged with making threats to bomb. His bond information was unavailable on Friday and his next court date was pending.
